A beautifully made German hollow-body bass with unmistakable vintage character: this 2014 Höfner 500/2-CV captures the look, feel, and thumpy short-scale tone that made Höfner basses famous in the early days of British rock.

The 500/2-CV is part of Höfner’s Cavern Vintage series, designed to recreate the vibe of the original mid-1960s Club basses with classic construction, traditional electronics, and period-correct styling. Lightweight, extremely comfortable, and rich with warm hollow-body resonance, it’s a fantastic bass for vintage rock, pop, indie, or studio work.

This example includes the original case and accessories, making it a great player or collector piece.
