Up for sale is a gorgeous 2000 Fender AVRI ’62 Jazz Bass in the always-stunning Lake Placid Blue finish. These early-2000s AVRI models are extremely well-regarded—lightweight, resonant, and built with era-correct details that made the AVRI series the benchmark for vintage-style Fenders.
This one plays and sounds fantastic, with the classic J-Bass snap, growl, and clarity. Cosmetically, it has honest playwear: a few dings as pictured and some finish chips around the neck plate, but nothing structural. It’s been well-cared-for and remains all original.
Includes the original brown tolex case, bridge cover, pickup cover, and factory paperwork.
