This is a vintage Kay K-1 SG-style electric guitar, made in Japan during the late 1960s to early 1970s era. It’s a lightweight, single-pickup model with a distinct vintage character and that unmistakable MIJ charm.
The guitar features a mahogany-style body with a bolt-on neck, a single chrome-covered pickup, and simple volume and tone controls — a straightforward rock ‘n’ roll setup that delivers raw, punchy tone. The neck has a comfortable medium profile and a rosewood fingerboard, making it easy to play and great for rhythm or slide work.
