Here’s a stunning reissue of one of Guild’s most iconic basses — the M-85, part of the Newark St. Series. Built to capture the vibe and feel of the original 1960s short-scale hollowbody, this 2014 model nails it with modern reliability and vintage character.

The all-maple hollowbody paired with a set mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard gives this bass a warm, round tone with plenty of punch. The short 30 3/4" scale makes it incredibly comfortable to play, while the BiSonic BS-1 pickup delivers that fat, articulate low end Guild is known for. Very slim neck, think J bass.

This one is finished in a sleek high-gloss black that looks equally classy under stage lights or in the studio. It’s in excellent condition with only the lightest signs of use, fully functional, and ready to plug in and groove.
